The two busiest and most stressful times of the year for many of us are the beginning of the holiday season, and right now – the start of the summer season.
Weddings, grad parties, and BBQ’s to attend. Parents trying to figure out how to keep their kids entertained. Housework and yard work. Planning vacations and so on.
It’s easy to lose track of eating healthy when your head is spinning.
Ever the more reason to start your day with a nutrient packed breakfast. Try a green smoothie, and make it a little more green and healthy with a spoonful of our Premium Japanese Matcha Powder 抹茶.
Start with an avocado and peach, or avocado with banana. Add in some leafy greens if you want. Then equal parts soy milk, orange juice and water. Honey if you like it on the sweet side. And finally, vanilla paste & matcha powder.
Matcha not only adds all the beneficial antioxidants from green tea, but also gives you an extra kick in your step in the morning. Matcha powder has as much caffeine as coffee, but is absorbed by the body at a slower rate. So matcha has less of the caffeine side effects, and gives you longer lasting energy.
Add a teaspoon of matcha into your favorite smoothie recipe, or try out this Avocado Matcha Smoothie for breakfast tomorrow.
