Giveaway of Handcrafted Bamboo Chop Block (Enter to Win by May 20th)

ecofriendly chopping block for fresh spices

A quick look through many of the recipes on Season with Spice, and you’ll notice a recurring theme – fresh ingredients with lots of required chopping.  Chopping garlic and shallots, carrots and lettuce, ginger and chilies and lemongrass.  A sharp knife and a high quality chopping board are two kitchen tools we can’t live without.

What kitchen tool can you not live without?

sustainable, ecofriendly kitchen products

Since we will have many more recipes with lots of required chopping, we are giving away a bamboo chop block from Olive & Myrtle – an online shop specializing in sustainable products.  The chop block is handcrafted from 100% organically grown bamboo, and is made only with food-safe water-based adhesives, and hand finished with top-grade natural food-safe oil.

For other eco-friendly kitchen and home products, visit Olive & Myrtle from now until the end of May during their 35%-50% off storewide spring clearance sale.

Details of Giveaway:

To enter, just leave a comment telling us what kitchen tool you can not live without?

For additional entries (up to 2 additional ways to enter):
Who can enter?  Anyone with a mailing address in the US.

Enter by 11:00pm EST on Sunday, May 20th.  One winner will be randomly selected (using Random.org), and then notified on May 21st.  Good luck!

And the winner of the Bamboo Chop Block is...#17 Kathy Cutia from Georgia (Results).  Congratulations from Season with Spice and Olive & Myrtle!

OMG! You must have heard of my wish. I wanted to buy bamboo chop board for a while now... How exciting!! Definitely need this for my chopping and photo shoot (have you seen my plastic chop boards??). My kitchen tool should be... grinder. I like my glinder to grind ginger. It holds juices too and I use it everyday!

Nami said...

grinder not glinder..duh.

Wow, super gorgeous! I love my knives and wooden spoons, but my secret favorite tool is my melon baller. I never ball melons—but I do use it to get the ribs and seeds out of peppers, the guts out of my butternut squash, the seeds out of cucumbers, and a million other things.

I have two bamboo chopping block that I absolutely love!!! One for non-meat things and one for meat. I will never chop on anything else ever, ever again! One of my blocks is 10 years old and after a good washing and a touch of oil its like brand new! So I can attest to the value of this giveaway and know that the winner will love this board. I just wanted to leave a comment, but do not want to be included in the giveaway.
