The incongruous match of a Registered Dietitian to be and a hungryman intrigued us when we first stumbled upon their blog last year. And when we delved further into Min & Tim’s stories on their site – The Adventures of MJ & Hungryman – we learned that a heart condition doesn’t limit love, it strengthens it.
The role that cooking & health play in their lives together always has us returning to follow their story, because we relate closely to where their journey began, and the adventures they continue to share from their home in Austin, Texas.
When we first contacted Min & Tim to introduce ourselves and Season with Spice, we already knew from their blog that they also felt a strong connection between healthy eating and spices. But when they replied, clearly stating “less salt, more spice”, we knew immediately we found two new friends.
We couldn’t imagine a better way to describe the connection of healthy eating and spices than the thousand delicious words that came to mind after seeing this Vietnamese BBQ Shrimp Noodle Bowl that Min cooked up using our Vietnamese Spicy BBQ Seasoning.
Min may not be a full-fledged Registered Dietician just yet, but if her career goal is to convince the rest of us to become a hungryman for healthy dishes, mission accomplished.
