Less sugar, more vanilla!
Sugar takes the edge off sourish fruits like passion fruit, but a healthier option is to cut down on the sugar, and be generous with the vanilla. The rich, smooth flavor of vanilla can enhance the taste of a dessert while balancing the harsher elements of its ingredients.
So while I usually recommend a light touch when adding in spices to a recipe, this time go a little crazy with the vanilla to create a delightful, tropical Passion Fruit Vanilla Shake.

Passion Fruit & Vanilla – both known for their soothing, fragrant aromas – make an enticing pair in any dessert. Try passion fruit vanilla ice cream or cake or pudding. Or for a summer treat - Passion Fruit Butter Cookies.
