Many different sambal varieties are in the country, using green chili pepper, red cayenne pepper, bird eye chilies, or rocota pepper (cabai gendot).Indonesia Eatshttp://twitter.com/IndonesiaEats[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-6575937590713923822011-11-08T18:10:29.560-08:002011-11-08T18:10:29.560-08:00Thank you Arudhi! Go for it, but have a glass of milk ready just in case:)seasonwithspice[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-60086191588556676452011-11-07T18:03:33.200-08:002011-11-07T18:03:33.200-08:00Gosh I love love love your site! Oh I`m so not leaving this page :D <br />It`s a shame that I could not get fresh bird`s eye chili pepper here and so far the spiciest chili I can get from the stores is the dried red chili peppers. I saw pickled habanero in jars at stores for imported goodies but still not sure if I should use that. Guess I need to explore all the available options. Thank you for sharing the recipes!Arudhi@Aboxofkitchen[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-53351087080728864522011-11-07T15:50:03.388-08:002011-11-07T15:50:03.388-08:00This is my favorite spice! This is my favorite spice!BiteMyCake[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-52189902301447325072011-11-07T14:25:18.207-08:002011-11-07T14:25:18.207-08:00Now this is my new teritory... In Japan chili pepper we use is called Ichimi (1 chili) or Shichimi (7 kinds chili peppers) but we only &quot;sprinkle&quot; on dish, not include and cook with the dishes. I am missing a lot of dishes because my stomach can&#39;t handle spicy dishes and I certainly hope I can improve my palate..Nami | Just One Cookbookhttp://justonecookbook.com/blog/[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-73310983030019618562011-11-07T09:38:20.551-08:002011-11-07T09:38:20.551-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Rosa Mayhttp://twitter.com/RosasYummyYums[email protected]
