We always have a lot of visitors during the holidays and I'm usually the 'chef'- can't wait to try these out on our guests!<br /><br />http://textbooksandtofu.blogspot.com/Ashley Coates[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-47008098404965724522011-11-18T06:05:21.385-08:002011-11-18T06:05:21.385-08:00Wow, this must be the most sophisticated spring ro...Wow, this must be the most sophisticated spring rolls I`ve ever seen! They look very delicious! The use of sambal belacan sounds very interesting to me.<br />Indonesians call the spring rolls as lumpia (fried version is the most common one I think) and lumpia I knew used savory-sweet bamboo shoots for its main ingredients of the filling with small addition of eggs. <br />Now I`m thinking of eating those popiah with sambal kacang....Arudhi@Aboxofkitchen[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-46587236205266205112011-11-17T19:41:27.982-08:002011-11-17T19:41:27.982-08:00Same plate again?! Mark can take 6 - 7 at one go. No kidding:)seasonwithspice[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488443880886773768.post-54790235960172583292011-11-16T10:10:46.961-08:002011-11-16T10:10:46.961-08:00I just smiled when I saw the first picture - remem...I just smiled when I saw the first picture - remember our conversation of having the same plate? Another one! I feel like we're shopping at the same store! It's so funny we live so far apart but we're sharing the same plates probably manufactured in the same factory. LOL! Anyway, oh this spring roll looks YUMMY! I love the detail tutorial too. I can easily eat 2-3 rolls of this (and that's my modest amount - in reality... I can probably eat way more)!Nami | Just One Cookbookhttp://justonecookbook.com/blog/[email protected]
