Thanks everyone! It's a struggle photographing ice cream in Malaysia. I need to photograph near the window for the right lighting, but the ice cream melts so fast. The image with the mini ice cream cone went well and the ice cream looks good, but the last image of the two scoops in the dish was a third try, so it was looking pretty icy at that point from refreezing.

Hi Nashi - a shake works fine too. Just grind up the spices and mix it with store bought coffee ice cream. Or vanilla ice cream, if you already have ground coffee at home.

Instant coffee & coffee bean recipes are next...

I'm a huge fan of masala chai and ice creams too. Can imagine how delicious this tastes. Wish I could make it at home...but alas, I don't have an ice cream machine!
